    @caringnaturewellness is the month to and I'm especially feeling reflective because I'm turning 40 in a few weeks. I can't help but remembering, what has led me to this path? What's your unique story?⠀ ⠀ I started experiencing prevalent neck and shoulder pain 7 years ago (and till now), from cumulative work stress in academia. At that time I also experienced and passive suicidal thoughts. Physical medication and helped momentarily, but the symptoms have relapsed every once in a while.⠀ ⠀ Then along with a marriage going downward spiral and more physical pain arising (the left side of body went numb), three years ago I took a "self to try That week of first-time trying healing, and body works and past life made me realize the root causes of many problems could follow from years or past lives to date.⠀ ⠀ I also learned how my parents, childhood, youth, abusive relationship, etc. are all related and influential on the body. Slowly I began to meditate (from not being to focus at all), developed more senses, felt inspired to help others heal and wanted to become a contributor to the community, besides just being a receiver.⠀ ⠀ As the recent work challenge is bringing so much physical and mental pain again, I've chosen to share this note of personal path to remind myself and others, where we came from and where we aspire to go. Let the inner and pertain.     Finally back into the gym after 2 weeks?!!!!!!     I’m officially sold. I LOVE my Apple Watch ⌚️🍎🖤 One of my favorite things is the mindfulness “breath” feature. I think I used it 4 times today.🧘🏻‍♀️ The only thing I think would make it better, is if you could set reminders every hour or so to take that mindful minute.     B R E A T H E Self-care tip Did you know that breathing is the easiest and cheapest way to feel better. Whenever I am feeling stressed, out of sorts, need grounding, need to relax, need to find clarity or focus, i breathe. It's that simple and yet often forgotten or taken for granted. Long slow deep breaths. Do it until it works. Breathing is your bodies largest detoxifying organ helping to clear out the toxins, the negative vibes, the stuff that's weighing us down and taking up space. It also connects our minds with our bodies and brings us into the present moment. Wherever you are, whenever you can try to breathe fully into your belly and chest. We call this abdominal thoracic breathing. It is a balanced breath and helps to balance our nervous system and energy, it also stimulates the diaphragm (largest breathing muscle). Try taking a few long slow deep breaths, when you are in the shower, waiting in line, in the car, putting your kids to bed. Breathe not only at times of stress but when you are relaxed. It let's you connect with your body and see how you are feeling that moment. It also allows you to be more present with where you are. Like when you are eating you can notice the taste, smell and texture of your foods, when you are in a rush and trying to multitask it can help you focus and remain calm, it's also a great tool to teach our kids both when they are relaxed like going to bed, but also when they are mad or don't get their way. It can help kids regulate their emotions but only if they've practice to it in a calming environment Breathing effects are pure magic !!! ✨✨✨ Give it a try!
